Introductions aside, let’s tackle what this is all about. Fleurieu Handmade, is a new online venture, building a community and space around art and creative people from the Fleurieu region. Fleurieu Handmade is a micro business where artists and crafts people can be showcased, make contact with new clients, and inspire each other.
Based in the Fleurieu Coast area, south of Adelaide, Australia, we want to help you get to know a bit more about the artist and crafts people who are all part of a vibrant community. Be inspired by texture, colour and enjoy learning about the process of creating pieces, or an find an artist for hire and get that perfect commission piece.

We will be embarking on this blog experiment, here on our new website. We dream to introduce you to the creative people and stories that make our community. We hope that we can document the journey of professional artists, designers and crafts people for the memories, but also in the hope that we can inspire others to get involved. Showing peoples approaches to creating and the development of skills and style. We hope to start off small, with artist bios and interviews from hobbyist to professional, and to start offering some readymade products so that people who want to help support these craftspeople on their journey can do so through the purchase of a piece of work. We are working to create an online space that encourages supporting and sharing with other local creators, and promoting their work readymade and commission work.
On the first of July 2020 will be officially launching our online store through our website, this will have access to an increasing and constantly changing range of products. Focusing on readymade giftware and art inspired or created by our amazing region.
